When I signed up to go to school, I was expecting to learn many things about English and speech and math. My expectations were way off. I learned way more than that. I had no idea how exciting, yet challenging this experience would be. Never in my life had I worked so hard in school and had so much fun at the same time. I will be sad and happy to see this semester go. I am going to be relieved to get a break from stressing out about my work, but I'm going to be sad not to have such meaningful, intellectual classes with my amazing professors that I admire completely.





English class was the most challenging yet meaningful of them all. I had a blast reading Fahrenheit 451, but I also wanted to pull my hair out analyzing the chapters. After finishing each paper, I was shocked at my ability to write them. I put a lot of effort and time into each paper and now that I read each one, I'm glad that I put the hard work into them. The papers that I wrote in this class are something that I'll cherish forever.





I think that Professor Charlton is banga-rang!! (That's a good thing) And I'm not just saying that to be a suck up. I love her passion for English and literature. She teaches with such excitement that it made my mornings fly by effortlessly. Her animation and personality is refreshing and I'm going to miss her. :( I wish I could take my second English class with her... Oh well, at least I'll have all of the lessons that she taught us to carry with me forever. I won't be a sheeple. Baaaahhh! :)





I'm so thankful that I had the chance to experience this class, I'll give it a 10!

Summer Plans

Hello everyone! I just want to vent about my stress! :) I have 2 weddings that I am in this year. One in July and one in September. My July wedding is in California. And thanks to all the food that I love to eat, I can't fit my boobs into my dress!! lol My lovely friend Angie whom I've known since..hmm 8th or 9th grade is getting married. She lives near San Fran. Mike and I plan to rent a Harley and visit Yosemite State Park, it's a 3 hour drive from Ang's house. Since we are spending the money to go to Cali, I want to take full advantage of my trip. I can't take my kids though :(

This will be Angie's second attempt at marriage. We had our dresses and everything was planned for the last wedding that was scheduled for the east coast, but thankfully her ex realized he was a total jack ass and backed out. I was so thankful. I would have stood by her side regardless, but I was praying! I am looking forward to sharing this beautiful day with her and her lovely family. I love her forever!!

Right before this lovely event I will be away at Camp Kydnie. Camp Kydnie is a camp for kids who have had transplants, are on dialysis, or who have kidney disease. And yes I know Kydnie is spelled wrong. Mike and I are counselors for the teen cabins. Last year was our first year and it was such an amazing experience for both all of us. We met so many strong courageous kids, including my daughter and my son, which is why we got involved in camp in the first place.There were kids from all the hospitals around Pennsylvania.

The camp is near Bloomsburg,Pa and it's called Camp Victory which houses many different kind of special needs camps. Camp Kydnie is so special because they have Cruz's very own nephrologist Dr. Kees-Folts from Hershey Medical, right there administering all of the children's medications throughout the day and they even take the kids who need dialysis to the nearest hospital. I highly recommend anyone to get involved in volunteering for any camp, it's something you will never forget. But at the same time my plans are getting a little crowded , considering I'm in another wedding.

This is for my older friend Angie, I know what are the odds of someone having two really great friends named Angie and they're both getting married this year!! I couldn't say no to either of the girls. This Angie I've known since birth, I guess you could say. She was my childhood neighbor and dear friend. We are like sisters basically. She's absolutely amazing and I'm so in love with the fact that she is getting married to this completely adorable guy that we all adore! (we all meaning my sister and I) Angie is a brilliant woman and she deserves only the best!!
All of this is going to take a lot of time off work and a lot of money, and that is why I'm just a little stressed!! I'll add pictures later :)

Good Friday

I had such a lovely evening. I went to my girlfriends church and saw The Passion play. What a sad story. The cast did such an awesome job!! It brought tears to watch Jesus being hammered to the cross. When I see and hear, in great detail ,what Christ did for us it makes me feel so unworthy of complaining about anything. I feel so blessed this Easter weekend, may God be with you all :)
